Couple things today -
1. 4th of July is fast approaching. Just a reminder - we have a by-week next monday so enjoy the holiday. Make sure to stop in at Story's Meats and Deli to pickup all your cook out supplies - located on M-57 and Northland Drive.
2. Last weeks results are all posted. A quick note on the season standings. I haven't had the time to update the database to accommodate the Team scoring so the season standings still come up as individual points. If you have fished all the tournaments with the same partner (or by yourself) then those points are accurate. I should have the system updated soon - time is at a premium lately so I appreciate everyone bearing with me on this.
3. Kids and Tournaments - its been an unwritten rule in years past that kids 12 and under are welcome to participate in tournaments with a parent or relative. Kids may fish as a 3rd person in the boat and do not need to pay a membership fee. If you let me know in advance, I will try to have some sponsor baits available as "prizes" also. I just wanted to point out that this is still the case and feel free to bring the young ones.
See you tonight at Little Whitefish or Sessions lake
Thanks

Hey Everyone - just a reminder as you are planning your weekend festivities - be sure to check out Story's Meats & Deli on M-57 and Northland Drive just north of Rockford for all your cookout needs. Story's is a sponsor of COTM so stop in and show some support and get some great cuts of meat, brats, burgers and sides while you're at it!
http://www.storysmeatsanddeli.com/Mon, 12 Apr 2010 13:28 - THEFT on Crockery Lake
If anyone was on crockery lake (8 miles west of sparta) sunday afternoon and saw or knows the guy in the 10-12 silver aluminum boat with a 10hp old motor on it fishing by himself - please email me
Guy stole about $2k worth of tackle and equipment from another boat on the lake after a tackle bag blew out of the boat. He went and picked it up and then disappeared - think he put on a trailer and hauled off because we couldn't find him on the lake at all 15 minutes later. There was only 1 other boat on the lake and it was OBVIOUS where the tackle bag came from and he blatantly took it ( I saw him pick it up).
There is a reward.
Thanks

-Justin @ WMBThu, 04 Mar 2010 13:19 - Become a Sponsor!
WMB/Case of the Mondays interacted with close to 100 different anglers last year. We've grown every year and with the addition of our new division - we fully expect that number to more than double in 2010. To remain a 100% payback club, our directors and volunteers work for free and pay their own entry fees. Every penny paid into this club goes back to its anglers - the way it should be.
This year, we've taken steps to push this series to the next level. We've come to the realization that as a 35$ tournament our nightly payouts aren't going to be eye-popping, jaw-dropping dollar amounts! Don't get me wrong - you'll have a great time and the ROI is pretty darn good when you do the math. As competitive anglers however, we are always looking for the big payout.
Enter "the classic". In years past our classic has been nothing more than a bragging right weekend tournament. Not so this year. Now our classic is the "big prize" at the end of 12 event season. The classic will be good, but it can be better - and that is where sponsors come in.
We have several options to sponsor end of the year prizes. Sponsorship get your name, link, and small marketing pitch on our website as well as any promotional materials to be distributed pre-season. As a sponsor, you are also welcome to come to any events to promote your business. If you ask nicely - I'll probably even take you fishing a few times! By sponsoring these prizes - your name and information will be engraved on the trophies and you will be welcome to present the prizes during the classic.
Currently we are looking for the following:
End of the year BIG Bass - $300
End of the year Div Points Leader (paid to the division leader who did not win AOTY) = $250
AOTY - Points Leaders - Winning team overall = $500
If your business or someone you know might be interested, please contact me!
Regards,
Justin @ wmbFri, 26 Feb 2010 13:53 - Points and divisions
There's been a lot of questions regarding points and divisions.
"Can i fish events in both divisions and accumulate points for the classic?"
the short answer is no. You qualify for the classic by division, therefore there is no good way for us to allow points from the events from the South to be combined with points from the North and vice versa. Anyone is certainly more than welcome to fish any event that they like regardless of division - just understand that your classic qualifying points will be the sum of points earned in either the North only or South only events. You could feasibly fish 6 in the North and 6 in the South and - depending how the cards fall - qualify for the classic in both, one or the other. We understand that some lakes are more convenient than others depending on where you live. If you are serious about qualifying for the classic, we recommend choosing the division that is most convenient overall.
Thanks for the questions and feel free to email us if this or any other matters require further clarification.
Justin @ wmbThu, 25 Feb 2010 19:05 - i'm good at this
OK - so i messed up and keyed in the wrong version of the new GR south schedule. Its up to date now and I'm pretty sure I got it right this time.

justin @ wmbThu, 25 Feb 2010 15:04 - We've added a GR South Division!
We added a new GR South Division for COTM 2010! If you like Gun, Morrison, Jordan, Duncan, Thornapple and Reeds - then this is the division for you! Both divisions will be competing towards the same classic this year - should be a great time and an awesome classic.
See you on the water

-Justin @ wmbMon, 25 Jan 2010 02:35 - Classic Date
Be advised, the classic will be held Oct 3rd (not the 2nd as it states on the rules page). The 2nd is the same day as the Lake Drive classic so we will hold ours the day after as to not overlap.
-Justin @ wmbSun, 24 Jan 2010 23:18 - 2010 Schedule and Rules
Hello and welcome to 2010! I've updated the site with the 2010 schedule. Please also make it a point to check out the rules page as there have been some amended rules and new policies put in place.
In the past I have resisted having a membership fee, but in order to make these tournaments the best I possibly can - I have decided this year to implement a $10 membership fee per person. The goal of this is to provide end of the year winnings in the form of Classic payouts and yearly big bass awards. I hope this modest fee will provide added incentive to participate at all of our Monday night events. Rest assured, that COTM will remain a 100% payout club - which also means that 100% of the membership fees will be paid back as well.
Please also note that rules regarding points, short & dead fish penalties and classic eligibility have been amended as well. I will require that all anglers this season sign a copy of the rules. These will be provided at all the tournaments or you can simply print, sign and email the Rules page from the site to me. (email me for details).
Thanks for checking in and hope to see you this spring

Its been a long winter already - Schedule will be posted soon! Sorry for the delay.
-JWed, 23 Sep 2009 00:34 - quick one
If you plan on going to the classic please email me to let me know so i can get an idea of headcount. I also have at least 1 or 2 non-boaters who are eligible so if you are looking for a partner or didn't fish a monday nighter, you can fish this event with them.
Tue, 22 Sep 2009 14:31 - Finalized - Classic Info
I've filled out the event reservation for Brower Park - sent it in well over a week ago so i'm assuming everything is a go on that.
Plan to take off at safe light (7-7:15).
Weighin will be at 3pm.
i was in canada the last 10 days so i'm catching up on a lot of things this week. I will have the launch orders/point standings computed and site updated by end of the work week.Wed, 02 Sep 2009 19:25 - Classic Location
Hardy Pond
Sep 27th
safe light until 3pm
Rules for participating:
35$ entry fee includes big bass
We will have some giveaways, prize packs and gift cards lined up as well.
Launch order will be determined by overall season points (which i will be updating soon )
Anyone (boater or non) may participate as long as they have some point standing in a monday night T. You may fish with a partner (sub) who has not fished a monday night event - so in short, at minimum 1 person in the boat must be a COTM participant. I do this for several reasons
1. Monday night and weekend schedules are different for everyone and this T wasn't on the schedule - so if you're partner can't make it, I hope everyone will still try to fish w/ a sub.
2. its a big lake, i'd love to see 15-20 boats or maybe more.
3. Our classic isn't funded by the regular season, so no ones money is on the line other than the entry fee. Therefore i feel its is appropriate to allow subs.
Besides, higher boat count = higher payouts.
Tentative launch ramp will be Brower Park. I need to see if i can get a permit which i will be doing this week. Parking there is about 10 bucks but its the best location to start from on the lake and has ample facilities. You are welcome to launch at any ramp and motor to Brower via boat if you so wish.Tue, 18 Aug 2009 13:33 - Classic Info
*** please note - email address below was incorrect, please email westmichbass@gmail.com
Hard to believe the season is almost over, but its time to decide on a classic location. The date will be sep 27th ( last sunday in sept).
Anyone who has fished a cotm weeknight event this year qualifies for the classic - and therefore has a vote in where it will be held.
the only rules:
1. Can't be a lake we fished for the monday nighters
2. Can't be the same lake we fished last years classic (reeds).
