-Justin @ wmbMon, 25 Jan 2010 02:35 - Classic Date
Be advised, the classic will be held Oct 3rd (not the 2nd as it states on the rules page). The 2nd is the same day as the Lake Drive classic so we will hold ours the day after as to not overlap.
-Justin @ wmbSun, 24 Jan 2010 23:18 - 2010 Schedule and Rules
Hello and welcome to 2010! I've updated the site with the 2010 schedule. Please also make it a point to check out the rules page as there have been some amended rules and new policies put in place.
In the past I have resisted having a membership fee, but in order to make these tournaments the best I possibly can - I have decided this year to implement a $10 membership fee per person. The goal of this is to provide end of the year winnings in the form of Classic payouts and yearly big bass awards. I hope this modest fee will provide added incentive to participate at all of our Monday night events. Rest assured, that COTM will remain a 100% payout club - which also means that 100% of the membership fees will be paid back as well.
Please also note that rules regarding points, short & dead fish penalties and classic eligibility have been amended as well. I will require that all anglers this season sign a copy of the rules. These will be provided at all the tournaments or you can simply print, sign and email the Rules page from the site to me. (email me for details).
Thanks for checking in and hope to see you this spring

Its been a long winter already - Schedule will be posted soon! Sorry for the delay.
-JWed, 23 Sep 2009 00:34 - quick one
If you plan on going to the classic please email me to let me know so i can get an idea of headcount. I also have at least 1 or 2 non-boaters who are eligible so if you are looking for a partner or didn't fish a monday nighter, you can fish this event with them.
Tue, 22 Sep 2009 14:31 - Finalized - Classic Info
I've filled out the event reservation for Brower Park - sent it in well over a week ago so i'm assuming everything is a go on that.
Plan to take off at safe light (7-7:15).
Weighin will be at 3pm.
i was in canada the last 10 days so i'm catching up on a lot of things this week. I will have the launch orders/point standings computed and site updated by end of the work week.Wed, 02 Sep 2009 19:25 - Classic Location
Hardy Pond
Sep 27th
safe light until 3pm
Rules for participating:
35$ entry fee includes big bass
We will have some giveaways, prize packs and gift cards lined up as well.
Launch order will be determined by overall season points (which i will be updating soon )
Anyone (boater or non) may participate as long as they have some point standing in a monday night T. You may fish with a partner (sub) who has not fished a monday night event - so in short, at minimum 1 person in the boat must be a COTM participant. I do this for several reasons
1. Monday night and weekend schedules are different for everyone and this T wasn't on the schedule - so if you're partner can't make it, I hope everyone will still try to fish w/ a sub.
2. its a big lake, i'd love to see 15-20 boats or maybe more.
3. Our classic isn't funded by the regular season, so no ones money is on the line other than the entry fee. Therefore i feel its is appropriate to allow subs.
Besides, higher boat count = higher payouts.
Tentative launch ramp will be Brower Park. I need to see if i can get a permit which i will be doing this week. Parking there is about 10 bucks but its the best location to start from on the lake and has ample facilities. You are welcome to launch at any ramp and motor to Brower via boat if you so wish.Tue, 18 Aug 2009 13:33 - Classic Info

Hard to believe the season is almost over, but its time to decide on a classic location. The date will be sep 27th ( last sunday in sept).
Anyone who has fished a cotm weeknight event this year qualifies for the classic - and therefore has a vote in where it will be held.
the only rules:
1. Can't be a lake we fished for the monday nighters
2. Can't be the same lake we fished last years classic (reeds).
Please email your name and vote to

I FINALLY got around to posting a whole backlog of Monday night results. Once I get my hands on the 1st Grand River weighin sheet I will have the COTM results and point standings up to date. Sorry for the huge delay on these - as most you regulars know my work schedule has been consuming the vast majority of my time for the last 2 months and finding the time to key in all the scores has been, sadly, a low priority. I'll do my best to keep things up to date from here on out! I truly appreciate everyone's patience with the matter.
See you tonight on the Grand!
- justin @ wmbMon, 08 Jun 2009 20:00 - Game On!
See you at the ramp. BPI - launching at 6pm.
-JustinMon, 08 Jun 2009 12:32 - Bad Weather alert!
There is a high chance of severe thunderstorms tonight (6/8) - in which case we will not be fishing. I will keep an eye on the weather and make the official call at 4:30pm. If you do not have access to internet at the time, you can call 616.881.9454 at or after 4:30 to get the info. Typically we will fish in the rain, but its not worth the risk of fishing in lightning.
thanks

-Justin @ wmbTue, 02 Jun 2009 14:31 - COTM #1 is on the books
Even with less-than-desirable parking conditions we managed to launch 15 boats for the Monday night season opener. In spite of the sudden COLD northern breeze that blew in, there were lots of limits brought to the scales and every team weighed in at least 4 fish with several 4lb+ fish in the mix. Thanks to everyone who came out and look forward to seeing you next Monday at Big Pine Island. Please note this ramp also has limited parking. If you are meeting your partner, please find a convenient location that is NOT the ramp. BPI has a nice lot, but they will hand out tickets for "creative" parking so we need to conserve every spot for trailers.
BTW - Big White Fish standing have been posted.

-Justin @ wmbSat, 30 May 2009 03:52 - Wrong Map to Little Whitefish
Just a heads up - if anyone printed the map from this site to Little Whitefish lake, the google map was incorrect. It was pointing to the ramp at Big Whitefish. The written directions were correct however. I've fixed the map now so it is safe to use.
Sorry for the inconvenience,
-Justin @ wmbThu, 28 May 2009 14:13 - Weekend series
The first weekend tournament is now in the books (results to be posted soon). We had 10 boats and 2 bags over 11lbs on Wabasis making our first weekend event a great success. A big thanks to everyone who came out over their holiday weekend to compete and congrats to the winners.
On a side note/FYI - Little Whitefish launch time (as well the the remaining Sunday events) will be 6:30am to take advantage of the earlier sunrises. Please register by 6:00am at the ramp. These are open tournaments - we do keep track of points, but there is no membership or other fees and 100% payback at the ramp. Hope to see on the water.

Welcome to the New home of Case of the Mondays. I hope you enjoy the new site. I've added a lot of features which should really help me keep things up to date for this upcoming season. The site relies heavily on a technology called AJAX. If you have an older browser, or have javascript disabled, you could experience problems. I recommend using FireFox 3.x or Google's new browser Chrome. If you have any issues with the new format, please send me an email at westmibass@gmail.com.
